Stuart Brinkworth

Stuart is a fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA, Medicare, Australian Association of Psychologists Inc., and a Board-Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Stuart has been delivering counselling psychology services for the past 20 years. He has particular interest in the treatment of adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting, addiction, stress, grief and loss. Stuart is also experienced working with couples.

Stuart values a client centred approach and integrates a range of treatment approaches including Emotion Focused Therapy, Attachment Based Therapies, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative, Short term Solution focused therapy and Positive Psychology. Stuart aims to develop a warm, genuine, empathetic and professional therapeutic alliance with his clients; with a committed approach to proactive communication with all appropriate health care providers and referring doctors.

Stuart provides clinical supervision to early-career and provisional psychologists, supporting their professional growth, ethical practice and reflective development within a safe and collaborative learning environment.

For clients who are eligible, the current Medicare rebate per consultation is $98.95
